The MSP region must be accessible and affordable in order to attract and retain the best and brightest talent. The Chamber advocates on these key issues to ensure that the region remains competitive nationally.
Talent & Workforce
Creating a qualified and diverse workforce is necessary to both maintain the competitiveness and strength of the MSP region, but to also stimulate new growth and development. That is why the Chamber engages our regional partners to invest in efforts to not only attract and retain a world-class workforce but to also educate the workforce of the future.
The Chamber is leading efforts to invest in a comprehensive transit and transportation system. Transit access allows for greater opportunities in housing, education, and employment, and a comprehensive transportation system that includes a variety of mobility options is critical to increase access to jobs and attract future workers.
Housing is fundamental, and affordability is a cornerstone of a successful region. That is why the Chamber works with local partners to advance housing priorities and initiatives that will create new units and support regional growth.
